Welcome to our cozy little corner of romance! At Forbidden Library, we believe in the power of love, storytelling, and a good book to escape into another world. But our story isn’t just about books—it’s about passion, perseverance, and the incredible people who support us along the way.

 

Before diving into the world of romance novels, I spent 10 years running a barber shop. Funny thing is, I never learned how to cut hair, but I learned a whole lot about running a business. It wasn’t something I was passionate about, but I knew how to make it work. Then, in 2020, a dear friend of mine, Rachel, gave me the best advice I’ve ever received—she told me to pick up a romance novel.

That moment changed everything. I’d never experienced an addiction like it before, and I fell completely in love with romance books. The stories, the characters, the emotions—I couldn’t get enough. I realized that this was my true passion. I decided to take everything I had learned about running a business and pour it into something I absolutely loved. With the support of my amazing husband, who has been my biggest cheerleader, I was able to turn this dream into reality and open a romance bookstore.
